Lokomat® System
The Lokomat System (Lokomat Basic) consists of the Lokomat (robotic gait orthosis), the Lokobasis (body weight support system) and is used in combination with a treadmill. The patient’s legs are guided on the treadmill according to a pre-programmed physiological gait pattern. The computer controlled guidance allows individual adjustments of different gait parameters.
Automated locomotion therapy on a treadmill
The Lokomat System utilizes high quality computer controlled motors (drives) which are integrated in the gait orthosis at each hip and knee joint. Force transducers at the joints accurately measure the interaction between the patient and the Lokomat. The drives are precisely synchronized with the speed of the treadmill. This sensitive system assures a precise match between the speed of the gait orthosis and the treadmill.
ERGYS Elecrical Stimulus Bike
The ERGYS Rehabilitation System uses computerized functional electrical stimulation (CFES) to allow persons with little or no voluntary leg movement to actively pedal a stationary leg-cycle ergometer.
How does it work?
Computer generated, low-level electrical pulses transmitted through surface electrodes cause coordinated contractions of your leg muscles. Sensors located in the ERGYS provide continuous feedback to a computer which controls the sequence of muscle contractions as well as the resistance to pedaling. The result is smooth and natural pedaling, with your leg muscles supplying the power.
GIGER MD® System
  • • The entire body is kept constantly in motion while the effects of gravity are eliminated
  • • Best physiological position, lying down flat with the spine lightened from its load and one's legs up
  • • Continuous active and passive motion (CAPM)©
  • • Harmonious movements in coordinated dynamic equilibrium
  • • All four limbs are kinematically linked together
  • • Arms, legs, back, pelvis, shoulders and head are guided
  • • Limbs and back are alternately stretched and rotated
  • Can be used by anyone easily and without fatigue

It's Never Too Late
  • Client Qualifications
  • 1. Must be able to breathe on their own
  • 2. Must be committed to an aggressive exercise program
  • 3. Must be motivated to workout for better health
  • 4. Current bone density test required
  • 5. Ok from physician to exercise

Whether your injury is new or you've had it for years, starting an exercise program now can avoid or reverse "learned non-use" in affected muscle groups. Muscle atrophy and neural circuits turn off with disuse. Building and maintaining muscle mass keeps tissues in paralyzed limbs. Our goal is to help you achieve an optimum quality of life through exercise.

All clients receive a free initial assessment which determines the exercise regiment for the individual's needs. The client's program is evaluated weekly and monthly pending advancements in modality and to achieve the short and long term goals established by the trainer and client.

Sessions are two to three hours in duration. A minimum of six to nine hours per week is required to enable optimal individual recovery. Any cervical, thoracic, or lumbar injury is accepted for both acute and chronic treatment. Future grants will offer lower hourly rates for qualified individuals. Billing will be monthly and clients must pay in advance.
